The 2011 Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition will be the 10th year, where we place contemporary sculpture in the shop windows of Toorak Village businesses and bolt large sculpture to the sidewalks of Toorak Road, during the entire month of May. All sculptures will be for sale to the public.
In the history of the Toorak Village Sculpture exhibition this decade of presenting sculpture to our customers is a proud achievement. The committee is now in the process of planning this milestone exhibition, ensuring the future of contemporary sculpture remains a focus in the Toorak Village.
Details for the 2011 Sculpture Exhibition will be available on this website from November 2010 with all artist entries due by 31st January 2011. Submissions of small/medium sized sculptures for interior shop window display & larger exterior installations for fixing along Toorak Rd (depth must be 60cm or less) will be accepted.
The Toorak Village Sculpture Exhibition is the most important annual event to take place in the Toorak Village. The link between the arts, business and local government forms a unique cultural experience. The 2011 Sculpture Exhibition will be presented by the Toorak Village Traders Association, the City of Stonnington and sponsors.
